It is really quite simple actually... you take Jamie then Angela and you squish it together with our last name and voila!!! You get jav, hence jav photography inc. Told you it was simple; and that is pretty much who we are... a simple, fun, and loving couple with a passion for photography.

Mission Wedding Photograher | Tanya & Dennis

Don’t know why we were so delayed on posting this one, lol, but better late then never ;)

Meet Tanya & Dennis :)

This was not our first time photographing these two – you might remember them from their fabulous engagement session with their super awesome dog Miss. Bossy!

When we heard that it was going to be a December wedding and the chance for snow was going to happen I was thrilled (I LOVE snow).  After planning where we would photograph their formals, it was now time to wait for the big day! When it arrived it was PERFECT!! It was sunny, not too cold and there was plenty of snow on the ground!!!! Tanya looked absolutely stunning and Dennis was pretty handsome himself :) Alright onto the pictures :)

Langley Wedding Photographer | Erin & Zach

Meet Erin & Zach:

What can we say about these two – not much other than we absolutely loved spending the day with them & it was such a special day. Erin and Zach were surrounded by their closest family & friends in an intimate backyard wedding. We weren’t sure how the weather would be for their big day, but when we woke up, wow, it was beautiful! We were already excited to shoot their day after hearing about it, but once we arrived at the location – we were even more excited. The property was absolutely stunning – private driveway, tennis courts, gorgeous backyard and to top it off they were overlooking a beautiful pond. Everything was PERFECT! Erin looked amazing and Zach looked so handsome. These two are so perfect for each other and we are so happy that we got to document this. Erin and Zach, we had a fabulous time with you guys – I don’t think we stopped laughing once with you!!

We don’t normally post the family & friends pictures, but there is one series at the end we just had to share – we think it is pretty funny ;) Congratulations again you guys!

Richmond Wedding Photographer | Supipi & Simon

Meet Supipi & Simon !!!


Supipi and Simon are such a wonderful couple! He is quiet, yet  so welcoming and she is gentle with a smile that is so infectious. We first met Supipi last year over coffee – her and Simon are from Toronto so she was over here while Simon was back in Toronto.  We actually didn’t have the pleasure of meeting Simon till the day of their wedding and when we did we instantly liked him! After our initial meeting, Supipi went back home and we connected through email from there on out…. After picking some fabulous locations to shoot their formals we were all set – all we needed was the day to get here :) :) And once it did, it was PERFECT! Supipi was the calmest bride ever, really. And Simon is just so kind and handsome :) After the pictures of the bridal party getting ready it was off to the church for a warm and heartfelt ceremony…. followed by the fabulous formals and then off to the UBC boathouse for the reception – and just a side note it was BEAUTIFULLY decorated :) Here are some of our favs from Supipi and Simon’s special day, enjoy :)
